After a fit-out
Rooftop units often run during construction, sometimes with no filter. Drywall dust and sawdust end up deep in the ducts.
Duct cleaning for offices, retail stores, clinics, plaza units and restaurant dining rooms. We clean the supply and return ducts and the rooftop unit return, and we work around your business hours. Every job is quoted in writing first.
Send the details and Real Deal HVAC will follow up.
Commercial duct cleaning in Mississauga for the spaces people work, shop and wait in.
Most of these spaces are heated and cooled by rooftop units, so the roof is part of the job. Some smaller units run on a furnace, much like a house.

Kitchen exhaust hood and grease duct cleaning is a different trade. We do not do it.
Grease ducts carry hot, greasy air from the cooking line to a fan on the roof. Cleaning them takes scraping and degreasing gear and follows fire safety rules of its own. Book a kitchen exhaust cleaning company for that.
What we clean in a restaurant is the heating and cooling side: the ducts that bring warm or cool air to the dining room and pull it back to the rooftop unit.
| Part of a restaurant | Who cleans it |
|---|---|
| Dining room supply and return ducts | We do |
| Rooftop unit return and blower | We do |
| Grilles and ceiling diffusers | We do |
| Kitchen hood and hood filters | Kitchen exhaust cleaning company |
| Grease duct and exhaust fan on the roof | Kitchen exhaust cleaning company |
There is no set schedule for every building. These are the signs it is time.
Rooftop units often run during construction, sometimes with no filter. Drywall dust and sawdust end up deep in the ducts.
Moving into a unit that sat empty, or that housed a very different business. Start with clean ducts, not the last tenant's dust.
Grey or black smudges around ceiling diffusers mean dust is blowing out with the air.
Staff wipe surfaces and the dust is back in a day or two.
A stale or musty smell each time the heat or air comes on.
Patients with breathing problems notice dust first. Clinics often book cleaning after renovations or on a regular cycle.
Call or send the form. We quote your space in writing and book a time that keeps you open.

In most plazas and offices, air comes back to the rooftop unit through one big return opening. That is where dust piles up.
Many offices also use the space above the ceiling tiles as the return. Air pulls dust from up there and carries it to the unit.
If we find a repair while we are up there, we tell you and quote it. See rooftop unit repair.
We plan the work so your staff and customers notice it as little as possible.
We count the units, the supply diffusers and the returns, and check how we get into the ceiling and onto the roof.
A written price for your space and a time that suits you: before opening, after closing or on a weekend.
Drop sheets over desks, stock and equipment under every vent we open.
A strong vacuum on the main duct pulls dust out. Brushes and air work through each run, one at a time.
Diffusers and return grilles come off and get cleaned. Then the rooftop unit return, filter rack and blower.
Everything goes back, the units run, and we check air is moving at the diffusers. You get a short written summary for your file.
We clean ducts in commercial spaces across Mississauga, and in Oakville, Etobicoke and Burlington.
Commercial duct cleaning is quoted per job, because two spaces of the same size can be very different work. Price depends on the number of rooftop units, how many diffusers and returns there are, ceiling and roof access, and how much construction dust is in the system.
Cleaning a house instead? See duct cleaning. For duct repairs or changes, see ductwork service. For heating and cooling equipment in your building, see commercial HVAC.
It is quoted per job. The main things that move the price are the number of rooftop units, the number of diffusers and returns, how easy the ceiling and roof are to reach, and how dirty the system is. You get the price in writing first.
No. Kitchen exhaust hood and grease duct cleaning is a separate trade. We clean the heating and cooling ducts in the dining room and the rooftop unit, not the hood or the grease duct.
Yes. Most commercial duct cleaning happens before opening, after closing or on weekends. Tell us when the space is empty and we plan around it.
There is no fixed rule. Clean after a fit-out or renovation, when a new tenant moves in, or when dust shows on diffusers and desks. Regular filter changes stretch the time between cleanings.
Usually not, if we work outside your hours. For a space open around the clock, we clean one area at a time and cover what is under each vent.
Yes. Rooftop units often run during construction, and fine dust gets deep into the ducts. Book it after the dusty work is done and before staff move back in.
Yes. We plan around patient hours, cover equipment under every vent and change the filters when we finish.
We stop and show you. Mould growth needs to be dealt with by a mould remediation company, and the moisture problem behind it has to be fixed too. We can help find the moisture source on the HVAC side.
Yes. We clean the return plenum, the filter rack and the blower, fit new filters and check the coil. Coil cleaning and repairs are quoted separately if needed.
We work out of Churchill Meadows, near Ninth Line. That puts us a few minutes from Erin Mills, Lisgar and Meadowvale, and about half an hour from Port Credit, Cooksville, Malton or Clarkson. We answer the phone 24 hours a day.
