Rooms that never reach temperature while others overshoot, weak airflow at the registers furthest from the furnace, whistling or booming when the system starts, and a system that runs constantly without satisfying the thermostat. Those point at the distribution rather than the equipment.
Leaks in supply and return trunks dump conditioned air into places you are not trying to heat or cool, so sealing them recovers capacity you have already paid to produce. It also lets the system reach the far rooms without being oversized.
Not usually, but the ducts must be able to carry the new airflow. A higher-output or higher-efficiency unit moves more air, and undersized returns are the most common limit. That gets checked before the equipment is sized.
Duct cleaning removes what has accumulated inside the ducts. Ductwork service changes the ducts themselves: sealing leaks, resizing runs, adding or relocating returns, and fixing restrictions.
Often yes, if the trunk has capacity for it. Where it does not, adding a register just steals air from somewhere else, so the trunk is assessed first.
A complete system clean covering all supply and return ducts is $475 + HST on our published pricing list.

“Great job, Shemar!!! Before choosing a company for cleaning the AC evaporator coil, I did a search and found many reviews with positive comments from happy and satisfied customers. It looked almost too good to be true... until you actually came our house to do the servicing... and I experienced the service first hand. Kudos!”
