Most Oakville homes need their ducts cleaned for one of three reasons. Which one fits your house changes what we look for.
If none of these sound like your home, a fresh filter may be all you need for now. We will say so on the phone.

Two to four hours for most homes. Larger homes take longer.
We find the furnace, every supply vent and every return, and look inside the main ducts so you know the starting point.
A strong vacuum connects to the main duct and keeps the dust moving out of the house while we work.
Each supply and return run gets a rotating brush and air, one at a time, from the vent back to the main duct.
The furnace blower and the return drop hold more dust than anywhere else in the system. We clean both.
If you have central air, we check the coil on top of the furnace and tell you if it needs cleaning too.
Vents go back on, the system runs, and we check the air at the vents before we pack up.
Whole-home duct cleaning starts at $475 + HST on our pricing list. That is a typical home with one furnace.
What moves the price up:
| Job | Price |
|---|---|
| Whole-home duct cleaning | From $475 + HST |
| Furnace tune-up on the same visit | $150 + HST |
| Second furnace and its ducts | Quoted in writing |

Timing matters more than how often.
Wait until the last trades are done, then book. Building dust is often still in the ducts when you get the keys.
During a renovation, cover the returns and turn the furnace off while drywall is sanded. Book the cleaning when the dusty work is over.
You rarely know when the ducts were last cleaned. Doing it before you unpack is easiest.
For everyone else. Go sooner if you have pets that shed, or if dust puffs out when the furnace starts.

If cleaning will not help, we tell you before you pay for it.
We clean ducts all over Oakville: Old Oakville, Bronte, Glen Abbey, River Oaks, Joshua Creek, Iroquois Ridge, West Oak Trails, Clearview, College Park, Falgarwood and the new streets north of Dundas.
Our shop is in west Mississauga, close to the Oakville border. For everything else we do in town, see HVAC in Oakville.

It starts at $475 + HST for a typical home with one furnace, from our pricing list. A second furnace, a large home or renovation dust can raise it, and you get the price in writing first.
Usually yes, once the last trades are finished. Building dust settles in the ducts during construction, and the first heating season blows it around. Change the filter on the same day.
Yes. Each furnace has its own set of ducts, so the job takes longer and costs more than a home with one furnace. We price both before we book.
Wait until the sanding is finished. Cleaning in the middle of a renovation means paying twice. Cover the return vents and keep the furnace off during the dusty work.
We clean the blower and the return drop as part of the job, and check the coil if you have central air. A full furnace tune-up is $150 + HST and can be done on the same visit.
Most homes take two to four hours. A large home with two furnaces can take most of the day.
Yes. We cover all of Oakville, north and south of the QEW, including the newer neighbourhoods north of Dundas Street.
We work out of Churchill Meadows, near Ninth Line. That puts us a few minutes from Erin Mills, Lisgar and Meadowvale, and about half an hour from Port Credit, Cooksville, Malton or Clarkson. We answer the phone 24 hours a day.
